The House recovers the wisdom of local traditions, in simplicity in white and stone, in the shade of the porches and in the careful relationship with the landscape. It is possible to rent the complete house, with six double rooms, for families or groups on short stays. The air-conditioned rooms include an intimate seating area and a private bathroom with a shower. Most of the rooms open onto patios overlooking the Alqueva dam and gardens. Alqueva Lake is located 5 minutes' walk from Monte Falperras and offers opportunities for canoeing, cycling and hiking. Guests can also rent bicycles on site and discover the verdant surrounding countryside. |
