The remaining land that extends to the sea is composed of a dairy farm where fresh milk can be delivered daily in the houses. To the North one can see the Mountain and you can go for a walk up to the top of the mountain of Water of Pau where is in the caldera the Lagoon of Fire with its expectacular and optimal view for the fishing of trouts. |
The HousesCasa SenhoralThe Manor House is a rural manor house from the 18th century. It is composed of five bed rooms with central heating and private bathroom, four of them are double and one is single, being able to comfortably accommodate up to nine people. After intense remodeling, in this house were prepared to think of all the comforts of a modern house, while maintaining the original characteristics of the house, reminiscent of the traditions of the Azores and the people of that time. Casa do Termo also has two large terraces with an unbelievable view of the Atlantic Ocean and the city of Ponta Delgada. It can also count on a dining room, living room, and a classic lounge with fireplace and cable TV. The kitchen is fully equipped. All divisions are large in size. |
Casa do TanqueThe House of the Tank consists of only one floor with two double bed rooms, with private bathroom and central heating, fully equipped kitchen, and dining and living room with fireplace and cable TV, the living room of dimensions very large. The Casa do Tanque is a recovery from another that existed on the property and is in a very special location of the farm, with privileged views to a tank of serene water lilies, on the south coast of São Miguel Island, and to an orchard of anonas. |
Casa da PalhaFrom an old barn and warehouse of utensils of support to the farm was born the House of the Straw. Azorean architectural style, with typical archipelago basalt, this house represents the perfect harmony between the traditional and the contemporary. The reconstruction of the House of the Straw was made to think of preparing for itself the comfort of today with the environment of yesteryear. Example of this perfect relationship is visible in an old stone fountain that is in the dining room. Casa da Palha has two floors. In the first, there are two with double bed rooms, with private bathrooms and central heating. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and living room with fireplace and a spacious terrace with an inspiring view of the city and the Atlantic Ocean. |
